How well is your site indexed by Google?

Enter site:your-site-name.co.uk into Google and it will list all pages it has indexed from your site. The excerpts it lists for you are title on first line, description across second two. Take the time to ensure they are all optimised. Look for pages not indexed and ask yourself why.

Want to see, in particular, how your brochures or downloads are indexed? Enter site:your-site-name.co.uk ext:pdf into Google. To get titles and descriptions right, set them in the PDF properties as you generate them, otherwise Google has to guess them from the document itself.

… just a quick couple of basic checks that can help you identify areas you can focus some SEO attention on.
