Rejected because it doesn’t meet the quality guidelines – Google Places

Answers via email please…

Has anybody actually submitted a listing recently and managed to get it displayed without receiving the error:
This listing was rejected because it doesn’t meet the quality guidelines

With the growing importance of Google Places to local businesses in the Google Search results I find it distinctly disturbing that straight factual entries are being rejected for no other reason that we can determine other than ‘Google doesn’t like it’.

If you’ve submitted an entry to Google Places then we highly recommend that you check back to see whether it actually got listed or not in your Google account.
