Web Design - Past Work
Here are some of the latest examples of web design work we have undertaken. Get in touch to discuss how we can help design and build a website to meet your specific needs: whether it be a small online brochure website, large content managed corporate site or e-commerce retail website.
We develop our websites using the latest Search Engine Optimisation best practice. We produce open source solutions, using validated XHTML and CSS (i.e. we write non-proprietary, good quality code). We avoid using Flash technology for anything other than page adornments. Flash, being mostly impenetrable to search engines, delivers great looking content to the user but effectively blank pages to Google - meaning that such sites hardly ever feature well in search engine results.

When listing intranet systems we do not show client names to help protect their commercial advantage.

Nicholson's Herb Farm is a Cambridgeshire based startup business growing herb plants in a sustainable fashion, targeting people visiting farmers markets and those who want to buy herb plants online.
Primarily we worked with Nicholson's Herb Farm to develop their eCommerce website; but we also gave advice on the whole process of marketing their website online, including starting them off on a link building campaign, setting up an optimised Google AdWords campaign on their behalf and training them how to take that forward. The eCommerce website was built on the powerful Viart eCommerce engine and, although low key in design, is very carefully Search Engine Optimised in terms of structure, content and technical implementation. The site rose up to the first page of the relevant Google results pages within a very short space of time; and the flexibility and power of the eCommerce/Content Management System will allow the site to grow with the business.
WebSanity were very professional, helpful, endlessly patient, always available and did a fantastic job with my ecommerce system. - Nicholson's Herb Farm

Envision is an international environmental consultancy and research company, specialising in coastal and marine management, mapping, and data services.
A corporate website carefully implemented using Search Engine Optimisation best practice; designed to be clear to both readers and search engines alike. The site is compatible with the Adobe Contribute Content Management System, allowing the content to be updated easily by the client (especially useful whilst refining the content during development).
Working with WebSanity on our website has certainly been a breath of fresh air – reassuringly thorough on all aspects of the development, including the technical areas of which we weren’t necessarily aware. Using just the right mix of guidance, explanation and encouragement whilst also letting us make our own decisions, WebSanity were full of good ideas, attentive and patient, quick to respond to our requests, and very precise in all aspects of developing the structure, design and content. We are very happy with the results, and confident in the knowledge that any further updates or reviews in the future will be handled with ease and in the same professional manner. - Envision |
