Internet Marketing & Search Engine Optimisation - Past Work
With the continual evolution of the internet it is no longer
good enough to just launch a website and hope customers
will turn up. A great deal of attention has to be taken
to ensure that your website is Search Engine Optimised (SEO):
with attention to the structure, content and technical implementation
of the website to present it in the best possible light
to Search Engines such as Google, Ask, MSN and Yahoo. Having
optimised your site, it can benefit greatly from Search
Engine Marketing (SEM): proactive activities designed to
boost search engine ranking further (including Pay Per Click
marketing campaigns such as Google's AdWords).
Contact
us to find out how we can help boost the effectiveness
of your current website through a tailored combination of
Search Engine Optimisation and Search Engine Marketing techniques.

Weldlogic Europe
www.weldlogic.co.uk |
 |
Weldlogic are a market leader in the field of micro-joining applications; selling products and services across a Europe-wide market. Unfortunately their website was written some time ago, lost focus and was failing to deliver to its full potential. WebSanity conducted a thorough SEO audit and then updated key technical aspects of the website to help it achieve better search engine rankings. We also 'templated' the site to allow it to continue to be developed - a not inconsiderable task - although we only had the scope to make very minor design updates.
Building on this, we have started an ongoing link building programme: showing marked improvements to search engine rankings - even during the early stages.

Injabulo
www.injabulo.com |
 |
Injabulo are a well established Cambridgeshire based business selling fair-trade buttons, knitting accessories and gifts across the UK. They developed their own website using Actinic software but were looking to make it work harder for them. We conducted a thorough SEO review of the site sitting alongside the client, teaching them the principles of SEO that were important to their site and dealing directly with some of the more technical aspects (for example 'url canonicalisation'). This provided a low cost, high value approach to optimising the website's performance: giving the client the knowledge and tools to continue to optimise their site as it continues to develop (including a planned updated design).
I think with you and Katie supporting me now I have the right kind of professionalism that the business needed and the only way is up. - Chrissie Sherwood, Injabulo Ltd

Nicholson's Herb Farm
www.nicholsonsherbfarm.co.uk |
 |
Nicholson's Herb Farm is a Cambridgeshire based startup business growing herb plants in a sustainable fashion, targeting people visiting farmers markets and those who want to buy herb plants online.
As well as building their eCommerce site for them we gave them advice on setting up an effective Google AdWords advertising campaign. We introduced them to the concept of AdWords advertising, setup an account for them, and then talked them through the principles of producing an optimised advertising campaign whilst setting up an initial campaign to act as a starting point.
Nicholson's Herb Farm have fully embraced the principle of selling on line and, with a little follow on support, are now running a successful online advertising campaign driving business through their eCommerce site. |

We gave advice to silverworker.co.uk, who are
at a very early stage of building both their

Link Supplier Brokerage Service; covering basic
search engine optimisation techniques, including
the importance of content and structuring, and
advice on how to market their business online,
such as link building and PPC advertising.

Rockingham Fender Seats
www.rockingham-fenderseats.com |
 |
Manufacturer of high quality,
bespoke
fender seats and low
fenders based in Peterborough.
We worked closely with Rockingham Fender Seats
to Search Engine Optimise (SEO) their
current web site. This started from the basics
of keyword and competitor analysis, adding optimised
content through to numerous technical updates
to the website to make it more attractive to
search engines. At the same time we made the
site more attractive to human visitors, for
example adding a slideshow presentation module,
updating maps etc., and retro-fitted the Adobe
Contribute Content Management System (CMS)
in order to allow them to update their own content
in the future.
We have already seen excellent improvements
in the search engine results, including a number
one position for one of our optimised keywords.
We are continuing with an ongoing programme
of Search Engine Marketing to further bolster
the organic search engine rankings; including
managing a Google AdWords campaign on
their behalf.
It is great to be working with a company that,
although founded in tradition and craftsmanship,
embraces the internet fully within its business
model.
‘We are really impressed
with how this project is progressing, your enthusiasm,
and hard work are second to none, it has been
a pleasure!’ - Rockingham Fender
Seats. |

Lamps and Lights
www.lampsandlights.co.uk |

Cambridge based online retailer of niche
lighting products.
We worked with Lamps and Lights, who develop
their own website, to provide search engine
optimisation advice, i.e. changes they could
make to the website to raise it's position in
search engine results. This was conducted under
a Business Link voucher scheme and included
a full analysis of the site, recommendations
for search engine optimisation updates and suggestions
for on going search engine marketing activities.
Subsequent to this we provided some Google AdWords consultancy, giving an intense introduction to AdWords optimisation so that the client could evolve their PPC advertising to attract more - and better quality - sales leads. |
