First cookie law legal cases start

Call it ironic, but it appears that the first people to be sued over not obeying the cookie laws will be a selection of European states. They either recognised it as the terrible waste of time and money that it is, or they just shrugged their shoulders and ignored it.

More interestingly, I wonder who will receive the fine, what they will do with it and – given current economic woes – who will actually end up footing the bill…

Note to all: at the very least update your privacy policy to include information about cookies in use.
